FLEXIBLE COVID-19 BOOKING POLICY

We have introduced a flexible COVID-19 booking policy for the 2021 season, to give confidence to our guests.

INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS: Advance bookings made more than 14 days prior to arrival, DO NOT require a deposit at point of booking. Valid card details are necessary to make bookings online. Full payment will be taken 14 days prior to your date of arrival. If, due to government guidance, you are unable to stay on your chosen date, payment WILL NOT be taken 14 days prior to your arrival. Bookings made less than 14 days in advance of arrival will require full payment at point of booking.

GROUP HIRE POLICY: For all group bookings, we require a security deposit to secure your chosen date. In the event we are unable to host your stay due to government Covid-19 restrictions, this deposit is fully refundable or transferable subject to availability.

OUR USUAL POLICY: To secure your required booking date, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of your booking is taken. This amount goes towards the total amount due for your stay, which is due 28 days before your booking date. For bookings made less than 4 weeks in advance the full amount is payable on booking. Your booking is not confirmed until the booking deposit is received in cleared funds. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is automatically assumed so we recommend you read them carefully before payment of the deposit. You will be sent a reminder when your balance is due.

Cancellation Policy
OUR USUAL CANCELLATION POLICY: Payments for bookings are non-refundable under any circumstances. If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your booking tell us immediately by telephone and then in writing and we will, without prejudice to our right to full payment, take reasonable steps to re-let the tent. If we manage to re-let the tent we will refund your money, less a £50 administration charge.

WEDDING ACCOMMODATION: To secure your required booking date, a non-refundable deposit of £400 is taken. This deposit then acts as the Damages/Breakage deposit, which will be refunded 48 hours after departure, following an inspection of the Glamping Meadow, should no damage/losses be found.  For bookings made less than 30 days in advance, the full amount is payable on booking and is non-refundable. Your booking is not confirmed until the booking deposit is received in cleared funds. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is automatically assumed so we recommend you read them carefully before payment of the deposit.

Nuisance
Guests must be respectful of the location and nature of the site. Loud noise and nuisance will not be tolerated at any time and all noise must be kept to a minimum after 11pm. Unamplified acoustic music, and small battery powered speakers can be used until 11pm. Although the site is remote, noise does travel easily in the open air and under Canvas, so please be respectful of nearby residents. Guests who in our reasonable opinion are causing nuisance, may be required to immediately leave the site.

Occupancy
Occupancy of a canvas room must not exceed 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 children and we reserve the right to decline accommodation and/or ask you to leave the site at any time if your numbers exceed this. The booking will then be deemed cancelled with full loss of payment.

Communal areas and kitchen
If you are using the communal kitchen to store and cook food/drink, please make sure that there is enough space in the fridge for other glampers to use.

Warning
Please remember you are staying in a woodland camping environment with live animals and other hazards. The Nature Reserve has many watercourses at close proximity to the Bell Tents. Some of the camp equipment can be dangerous if misused. The proprietor accepts no liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by any resident, their family, visitors, animals, vehicle or personal effects however caused. Please do not leave children unaccompanied in the woodland areas. Guests should acknowledge that glamping involves exposure to nature, including insects and wildlife. The design of the tents helps keep them at bay, but guests should take sensible precautions and we will not be liable for harm arising from such natural phenomena. Please note that our sites are in the open countryside/woodland therefore hay fever sufferers are advised to take anti-histamines.

Negligence
Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.

Breakages
Any damage or breakages which may occur must be paid for. Small accidental damages or breakages of a minor nature will not normally be charged but you are required to report all breakage and damage to the owners at the time or before you leave the glamping site.

Cold Weather
We are open partially in Autumn and therefore the temperature can drop especially through-out the night. We do not refund in the event of cold weather but do ask all guests to bring warm clothing, extra blankets and hot water bottles for their own comfort.

Closures
In extreme weather Glamping at Preston Court reserves the right to close the venue. No refund will be given if the site is unable to open due to extreme weather and if we feel the venue has become unsafe.  Alternative dates will be offered for your payment to be set against.
Glamping at Preston Court reserves the rights to transfer your booking to another one of our sites.

For example, these Terms and Conditions, and tent details including directions, to ensure they are fully aware of the nature of the campsite, Health and Safety issues, the wider woodland and Nature Reserve, the facilities, and any appropriate clothing and footwear they require. Only the guests originally booked are permitted to stay on site. Any extra guests (adults or children) will only be permitted on site at the site owners discretion. If extra guests are allowed on site, then extra charges will apply. When enjoying your stay at Glamping at Preston Court, particularly at night, please be considerate to our neighbours and fellow glampers. Noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 11pm. This means chatting outside must be with low voices. If the site manager feels the need to speak to the group on two separate occasions during your stay about being too noisy, the noise/damage deposit may be withheld. The site manager reserves the right to ask noisy/disruptive guests to leave.

We are a low noise policy glamping site.
